Home Trust Company is currently seeking a Business Development Manager in our Calgary Branch to service the Edmonton, Alberta region.

The successful candidate's mandate will be to generate new relationships with mortgage brokers and to promote mortgage and Visa products. The successful candidate will also provide strong customer support by communicating product information and maintaining close communications with prospective and existing customers.

Responsibilities will include:

* Sales and marketing of Home Trust's wide range of financial products

* Develop existing business and prospect for new business

* Participating in developing new marketing and sales strategies for Home Trust

* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets set out by Home Trust

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s service offerings

* Keeps up with latest industry knowledge

The successful candidate will have:

* A minimum of 3 years mortgage experience

* A strong understanding of residential mortgage products

* Sound knowledge of CMHC/AIG guidelines

* Ability to build relationships with external customers

* Established Mortgage Broker relations a definite asset

* Exceptional telephone skills

* A polished, sophisticated, corporate manner

* Effective listening skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and within a team environment

* Excellent time management skills

* Valid driver's license and a vehicle

* Flexibility for travel

* Live in Edmonton area, would be an asset
