Dairy Farm Manager in Alberta

Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $21.01 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Westlock, Alberta (1 vacancy)

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's licence

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Farm Operations: Dairy

Type of Equipment: Tractor, Storage and silage system, Feeding and watering system, Milking system, Manure handling or storage system

Specific Skills: Manage overall operation of farm, Hire and supervise farm workers, Purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies, Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings, Determine amount and kinds of crops to be grown and livestock to be raised, Plant, cultivate and harvest crops, Raise and breed livestock and poultry

Additional Skills: Maintain financial and production records

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Rural area
