Country Executive Canada
The Country Executive demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise.
Essential Responsibilities * Work with the Region Executive to evaluate market penetration and develop a Growth Playbook for Canada, incorporating specific actions required to drive growth in all GE Energy segments.* Represent GE Energy segments to GE Leadership.* Co-ordinate with all segments on various opportunities & present a "Go-to-Market" strategy for the country.* Lead & share accountability of the GE Energy Sales Team in Canada to achieve the operating plan.* Lead execution plans for all business segments as required.* Identify potential local partners required to support GE Energy activities & develop relations/tie-ups.* Introduce and promote GE Energy products in Canada with special focus to any new acquisitions or product/service offerings.* Identify, develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers in customer organizations.* Interface with GE Corporate & other GE businesses in Canada. Primary interface with the GE Energy Government Relations contacts.* Participate in developing GE Brand and Image recognition in the country.* Identify potential local nationals for Inquiry to Order/Order to Remittance (ITO/OTR) hiring requirements and local leadership pipeline development.* Advise GE Energy on Business risks, Security, Compliance etc.* Advise on all variable channels selection in the area.* Monitor, analyze, and understand market activities to continuously update the business on all region dynamics.* Favorably position GE Energy with customers in the market.* Conduct consultative selling.* Demonstrate and maintain a strong commitment to GE enterprise selling and boundary less sales.* Lead the development of sales opportunities and coordinate with the business lines sales support groups.Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.* At least 5 years of experience in field sales, sales of engineered products, or marketing.* Fluency in English.Desired Characteristics * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing.* Financial experience (MBA preferred).* Quality: GB or BB Certification (for GE employees only).* Strong knowledge of power industry products and services.* Local market knowledge & country experience.* Proven experience in a leadership position and preferably in a global matrixed environment.* Excellent communication & presentation skills.* Proven coordination, influence & team-leadership skills.* Strong Interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to liaise with colleagues and customers at all levels.* Fluency in French.* Proven track record of account management and sales success.* Understand the various financial instruments used by customers to conduct business.* Prior experience selling contracts / products with technical content of substantial value.* Ability to accept constructive criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations including continuing to persevere and remaining calm in challenging or frustrating circumstances.* Ability to work with a matrix organization in which you will take direction and lead others within various functions.* Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the CEO staff level.* Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.* Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customershttps://xjobs.brassring.com/1033/ASP/TG/cim_jobdetail.asp?SID=^tvWFmwmVoQ_slp_rhc_5CnB3lRZM9py0EKpY4kmdVSh0xF1ibbDzMSQkC78kZTnKIX5qTDyXJil8ArxOchgF_C_R__L_F_CnpKNtn9VgCeDLs0QJ_slp_rhc_Q35kdM61jD8Q=&jobId=753981&type=search&JobReqLang=1&recordstart=51&JobSiteId=5346&JobSiteInfo=753981_5346&GQId=0Ad reference #: A86550
